Aquaporin Water Cultures programme for IWA World Water Congress in Copenhagen, September 2022
For IWA World Water Congress 2022, Jane Withers Studio worked with the innovative water technology company Aquaporin to stage a cultural programme aimed at engaging the water industry and the public in the global debate on water.
The programme included The High Seas of Your Intrinsic Ocean, an installation at Copenhagen Contemporary by artist Karl Troels Sandegård. This work explored the artist’s own fascination with the jelly-like fourth state of water. Milin Patel of Fine Liquids conducted a water tasting hosted by Aquaporin with the Association of Waterworks in Denmark, introducing guests to the formation, rituals and beliefs associated with different waters.
