Brompton Design District, 2006 – ongoing

Since 2006 we have collaborated with South Kensington Estates on the development and curation of Brompton Design District. For the annual London Design Festival a series of exhibitions, events and talks curated by Jane Withers Studio bring together an experimental design programme with participating showrooms, design retailers and institutions in the area. An annual theme prompts a district-wide discussion about the different roles that design can play.

For 2023 the theme was ‘Conviviality – The Art of Living Together,' celebrating design’s ability to connect us with the people and places around us and to help us live collaboratively. Previous themes have included ‘Make Yourself at Home’ (2022), ‘From Here Onwards’ (2021), ‘Nature/Nurture’ (2019) and ‘Material Consequences’ (2018).
