Super Vernaculars Study Day at the Royal Academy of Art, 29 November 2022

This afternoon event featured a number of insightful round table discussions exploring and expanding upon Super Vernaculars, the theme of BIO27 Ljubljana's 27th Design Biennial. The study day was comprised of three sessions, kicking off the discussion with provocations by Paloma Gormley of Material Culture, Janja Šušnjar of Robida Collective, and Beatrice Leanza. The day was an opportunity to further explore the ideas developed during BIO27 and generate lively discussion around the value of the vernacular for architecture and design.
